Well where do start to tell you about these two women who have helped me in different ways. Sometimes i just needed a little advice on my sons case to keep this murderer in jail and i would have somoene with knowlege and wisdom making making me think before i jump the gun and write a letter or do something that could hurt my case then help it. They have both been very kind and giving to me and my family during hard times when the holidays come. Its just as bad for my sister because my son Brandon C. smith was killed on her birthday ocotober 28, 2005 so i always think of her on that day and the holidays because she cant deal with it at all. so i do what i can to make her forget the sadness because her birthday and holidays will never be the same. Me and my daughter was talking just the other day wondering when is the x-mas party this year because we had so much fun that day till we walked away from that place with smiles and happy to be apart of such a nice event and she had to make sure she was off that day because she didnt want to miss a thing this year. Yes it is so very hard without my loving son here with me but i try to be strong and keep moving on. It gets a little better with time but i know it will never go away and this is my life now. but i will never give up the fight for justice for my child. thank you Lawanda & Patricia for all you do and the positive words to keep you going and make you think. God bless you both because you are truley Angels!

I am a victim and I feel safe with this site because of your
understanding and ability to relate
I have been a victim of abuse,many say stalked for many years
I live in fear although I have the Permanent Order
the abuser has been arrested for violation but he has never served jail time so it does not bother him, i have safety plan and counselor to help
The authorities know and the courts know- I am lucky to still be alive
I am thanking you for letting me say the truth

I am the brother of Richard Shaputis. As his brother his viciousness was present even in childhood. HHe broke one of my others leg by throwing him against a wall. I am not positive it was him or my brother who was born after Richard, who kicked me so hard in the groin when I was four that I had to have a hernia operation at the age of four. There is a lot of violence in our family history plus other things Which I do not really like to talk about. In my view unless Richard is really handicapped by some disease or other things, he should never be allowed to leave prison. This may seem cold to some people espesially since it is coming from his younger brother. But I know him, and I know what he is capable of.

Let’s not pretend like reisig is some big defender and advocate for victims. He did it because it was in his interest not for some notion of justice.

Please just put my rapist in prison! I know another woman who was raped in Cypress and we are both being told they have other cases they are working on right now. She called 2 weeks after I did to inquire about her case. She was raped a day after me in Cypress. Please just put our rapists away!
